Side note, you know what I asked for my birthday? A nice camera and classes to know how to use it well. Do you think that happened? Haha NOPE! So don't judge my sad piCTuRes! But my lovely hubby did give me other things I asked for, Like these drapes and Rods For the living room, yes I know I need to IRON them(GRR), and yes I know the Carpet should BuRN, but It WILLL happen.....someday.
Oh and he got me these pillows I wanted. So I know for some people those are LaMe-O birthday gifts, but I really wanted them,REALLY! Now all we need in here is paint and new flooring, no biggie right?
So Our dining room For days I went and would lie myself in the entry to stare at it. I'm in LOVE! <3 I think my heart skipped a beat just thinking about it! LOVE! I know more tan, board and batten, blah but it's nice for the next few years, board and batten, how ever look at the crown and how it pops! Board and batten, and look and our awesome wood floors, oh and did I mention the board and batten! Whoo yay!
Oh right an a little reminder of the boring ugly room before, isn't it refreshing? Sigh.
Now the MOST exciting news EvEr to the entire WoRlD of man Kind, dun, dun, dun, duuuuuuuuu
We are having a baby FINALLY! I'm due March 11, 2011. Ryan think it's cool that the due date it 311, like the band. I'm just stoked it's finally happening! I know I'm only 8 weeks (today), but I decided not to make it a secret, like some people do. Mostly because I can hardly contain my complete and udder joy!! And complete and udder exhaustion!! So no secrets here, not when it comes to myself at least ;0)
I bet you totally forgot about the wood floors, well that's good because I no longer feel like sharing, I guess you'll have to wait to see the rest. At least there is a peak in the dining room :0)

That's such wonderful news, Candice!! You and Ryan will be great parents, I'm so happy for you both! And your house looks gorgeous, at least the parts you have chosen to divulge here. You have a great eye for decorating. We miss all you Utah dwellers!
