Wowzers

I mean seriously I can't believe it.  My baby is one! I feel like so much has been going on in our lives and I have no idea how to express everything the emotions the event, any of it.  So I am going to give it a try.
Ryan's school: So over the years Ryan has been in and out of school doing what he can when he can.  The last year or so he has been really working hard to get more done, hopefully he will "graduate" with a second associates this winter. This will at least lock in all his generals so if the school changes policies he should be covered.  Ryan has had many late nights working on homework, he has had several hard classes and is being pulled so many directions I think he is on overload. Work, school, and family, it's a wild ride.

Todd: Ryan's older brother will be living with us sometime in the future.  Everything is up in the air and very emotionally strung.  Right now it is a waiting game.  I am hoping he will be alright in the basement as he finds a job and gets into the groove of things. Hopefully it is not an overly cold winter...

Weight loss: I know I've posted some of weight changes and maybe soon I'll do some new pictures.  For the last 16 weeks I have been doing T25, I didn't really loose anything until the last 4 weeks or so.  I even haven't lost inches or anything, but my body has defiantly changed.  Everything is tightening up I recently hit 150.  The craziest thing is I am one size away from my pre-(Vivian)pregnancy pants, and 18lbs away from my pre-preg weight.  I tell you what I will not be loosing 18lbs, but I will be back in my size 1/2 pants her in the next few months. I knew I'd gained muscle, but now I KNOW it. As my reward to myself  for keeping at it I got to chop my hair off! I love it so much, the long hair was dragging me down.

Grayson's anger and oils: Since Grayson was about 17 months he would have long violent tantrums.  When he was 18months he bit though his tongue.  Ryan and I both feel like this was a huge set back in our communication and speech development for him.  The harder it was to communicate the worse the tantrums got.  Grayson is an obstinate stubborn little boy, don't get me wrong he has a very sweet low key loving side as well.  The longer things have drawn out the more we knew we needed to address a few things.  On a side note after potty training he started talking a LOT more, just not very well.  His anger was still a major problem though.  I felt like essential oils were the right place to strart for us.
I've always wanted to get into them, I truly feel they can help in so many ways. Mentally, physically, and emotionally.  We decided to take the plunge.  After much research and listening to my own feelings we chose to get in with Young Living oils.  I have to tell you our little  blend of oil that we apply twice a day has made a huge difference.  HUGE. I feel like his anger and tantrums are more on key with most children.  He can start to get angry about something and stop and realize what we asked him to do was ok and do it. He snaps out of it faster and I feel less like I am about to break.

Speech therapy: So now that we have his anger at a much more manageable level, we are ready to address his speech.  He is so smart, but annunciation is missing in basically all of his speech. Just in the last couple days I have started the process to get Grayson a testing evaluation. Hopefully he will get into one on October 24th and we will go from there.  If he qualifies he will get speech therapy provided by the district.  I am really hoping for this, it would help him so much when it comes to playing with friends or talking to family.  Right now just Ryan and I generally understand him.

Babies growing: Seriously! They are both getting so big and changing constantly.  Vivian turned 1 this past Friday and took her first step two days later on Sunday. I LOVE watching them grow and change into their own little people.  Vivian love to hug people and pat their back.  Grayson says hi to just about everyone and tells them what is on his shirt. Vivian eats all the time, she is a carb lover the first solid vegetable she likes is spaghetti squash.  Grayson I once again obsessed with trains.  He loves to go to tree house museum and play with the black train!
