So we spent Christmas in California, actually we spent it on the beach :0) Truly it was a wonderful day, we spent it with Cariann and her boys. Our little family had the awesome luck to be spoiled by Ryan's big sister, and spend a whole week there with her. I love spending time with her, I am so lucky to have such wonderful sister-in-laws in my life (all of them). We always come home refreshed and energized, maybe because we were such lazy butts the whole time, but hey it is wonderful for our house! We have been deep cleaning, and making the changes we need to before he leaves for Michigan. Maybe I'll be able to get a couple projects done while he is gone ;) if I'm lucky.
So I'm getting a little ahead of myself, so lets back up. Before we left for California we had the chance to celebrate Christmas with all of our family here in Utah, we were totally spoiled. I really can't believe it, we have been so blessed by all of our family and their care for us. I don't know where we would be without them.

We got to Cariann's (at 4:30am) Thursday morning. We all got unloaded and Grayson was so excited to be out of his car seat! He just LOVED Aunt Cariann, and Ruby (their dog). Her boys Logan, Cash, and Max have been so excited to see their cousin, they were so much fun to watch interact. Max could ALWAYS make him smile with all his singing and dancing. They were all great at carrying him around and loving him. Max even fed him once. :0)

Rob was home that evening (he would be gone in the morning, and the boys wanted their Dad there of course). So we all opened our gifts (except Grayson) I loved watching the boys, the excitement of it all. I can't believe we fit everything in the car.

That morning started out with Grayson discovering his gifts from Santa, and Aunt Cariann (we didn't bring ours, no room in the car)! He hasn't figure out the fun of opening gifts, so nothing was wrapped this time. He was thrilled, except when I took his picture.. haha.
Ryan and I made french toast and candied maple bacon for breakfast, we had to pitch in somewhere right? Then it was off the Lagoona beach, we looked at all the sea life in the tide pools, I love every minute of it! Grayson was a good sport, first time in the sand! Cariann made a special Christmas dinner that night, it was delicious!

We came home that afternoon, getting home on the 29th at 4:30am once again. It works so well to have Grayson sleep through most of the ride, it is totally worth it.
Since then we have been going non-stop, getting stuff taken care of. I love knowing that so much is done, but there is so much to go!
Oh and Michigan, for those of you who don't know, Ryan went back to school last semester, he is finishing up his bachelors degree, to do so he has to do an internship somewhere, he was lucky enough to get a spot with Ford. So he will be spending 3 months out there. :/ Leaving me and Grayson here. Luckily we have tons of family and friends to help me out. ;)
Anyways, I hope your holidays have been just as wonderful as ours. Oh and Had I sent out Christmas cards (which I didn't) you all would have got one. K-
