IKEA

Yay! So on Monday the 22nd my friend Lori, had made big plans to Ikea. She just bought a house and has been saving for furniture for it. So for about a month we knew when we would have a chance to go. Finally the day came. Our other friend Jamie played hookie and left work to go with us. Lori barrowed her friend Christinas truck for the big day. Lori herself wasn't to comfy driving the big old thing, so I drove instead. As we were driving happily, talking, I noticed that we were losing speed and no matter how hard I tried we were coming to a stop. So I got through three lanes of traffic just in time to park on the shoulder. I turned off the truck and the hood smoked a little, smelled like burning rubber, and it would not turn back on (or turn over). So we called Christina, she and Dave came to our rescue (about an hour later) thinking we were out of gas

Turns out that wasn't the problem. So after about 7 other hold ups,including trying to price tow trucks, getting to layton, then to loris, then realizing we still had the keys to the truck, then meeting up to give the keys back, and then finding a truck! So I am pleased to say we barrowed Ryans truck (he actually didn't need it that day, go figure)

AND WE MADE IT TO IKEA! finally at about 5ish. YAY IKEA!
